Minx is Booked For Spaying!

well Minx reached the 6 month age on the 13th of this month so i have just booked her in to be spayed next month. I was told it wil lcost inbetween 130 and 150 pounds though!!! Does anyone else think this is a bit high?

Females are normally more expensive than males to get fixed so that could be farely normal. It cost me $161 for my female kitten to get spayed and a rabies shot, but she was there for 24 hours. If you are concerned about the price, call around to other vets and ask for an estimate. That should help you know if your vet is charging you too much.

Poppy cost us about £100 but she's smaller than Minx, I think it depends on which surgery you go to.

Cheers guys, having looked around its a pretty average price. Its been a while since iv had to have a puppy spayed lol. Ill keep you posted on her progress

Are they using lasers for the surgery? It's a lot more expensive but less painful and heals easier.

Hey Hey

i have just brought Minx home from the vet's. All went well and she has to go again on Saturday for a check up. She is groggy and came in and went straight to sleep on the sofa. She doesnt seem very impressed with me lol

I know what you mean about her not being impressed, when my foster girl got spayed a few days ago, she wasn't impressed with me either...and she looked so pitiful!

Minx is milking it lol. She seems alot happier today but still a bit sore.
