How often should I give my dogs bones?
Olle has the trots and my gf thinks it is because of the bones.
He left her a nice present on the carpet earlier

Its different with every dog. Some do better with certain things than others.

My dogs get fresh marrow bones 2 times a week.

I was giving them about 4 a week.
They only can eat the inside they can not crunch the bone

What kind of dogs?

Some dogs really need bones and some could care less. I give my big dog, who is a chewer, bones quite often. I try to change around what I give him.

Nylabones are great but all my kids favorites are the *real* bones. They come in all different sizes. I also give the occassional rawhide (I know some people don't).

Sometimes anything other than their dog food can upset their tummies. Watch what you've given Ollie and if it happens next time you give him the bone, then you'll know. It very well could be possible.

4 a week is a bit much, unless they are big and chewers.

Give them time, they'll wear down the actual bone.

One is a Schnauzer and the other is a Daschund.
Olle only has his diet food and his bones no treats or anything or he is sick for some reason.
Does not stop him from begging though.
