Im a big fan of mutts. I know they are not popular because they are not purebred but they are by far the healthiest, best tempered dogs. They have less health problems too but you may not find homes for the puppies as people dont want mutts. I also like german shepards. They are the most trainable dogs and are very loyal. I also love dachshunds for there outgoing personalities. Good luck!

In between the gallop strides they buck exuberantly and toss their heads joyfully. After repeating their show a couple of times, they pause for a moment to look around with widely flared nostrils, as if to ask: Has everyone seen us? Aren't we simply fantastic? We urge them to move again. They react on the spot, hooves flying with delight.

i picked rotties because i grew up with a really sweet one. we rescued her from abuse and she became the most loyal dog ever. she had emotional scars though, we couldn't yell at her or she'd run and hide. we coudlnt' hug her or she'd growl, but she'd come lie on the couch ON us lol. when my sis was born we were worried she'd get jealous, but instead she just followed that baby everywhere to guard her. when baby laid on the floor to play, roxanne laid right beside her. if baby got up and moved 3 feet, the dog would do the same, it was truly amazing

Awww...thats sweet.
When my daughter was born we thought there would be issues with CoCo,the family dog.He lives with my mom.He is a terrier mix and well he don't generally like kids,as a bunch of neighbourhood kids abused him with rocks and hockey sticks and so he would always lash out at kids growing up.But when Chloe came,he would lie next to her and protect her and they have become friends!

Everyone will have a different opinion here - that's why there are so many dog breeds in the world! I thought about breeding (but never have, the dog I ended up with, Ella, is a chi mix from a shelter) for a while and looked into small breed dogs. I really liked boston terriers and pugs, but after some research found out that because they have large heads they're prone to complications during birth and often need veterinary assistance. So maybe you should look at some things like that - which breeds are easier to breed? Also, I have a soft spot for dachshunds, and I think they'd be really fun to breed if you're into genetics, since they have three different coat textures and several different colors. I'm sure there are other breeds like that too, I'm just thinking of dachshunds because I've always liked them. Anyway, my advice would be to look at other factors, like what you want out of breeding, as well as people's favorite breeds. Okay, sorry for the book here, but its a subject I've always been interested in!
