Thought I'd share some pictures of my doggies and introduce them all to the community!
:JACK DOG:
A
jack russell terrier (possibly a cross, I'm not familiar with the breed standards) - he's a smooth hair. My boyfriend rescued him about 10 years ago, one previous owner had died and he wasn't found for days (he was at the end of his master's bed), and the other was negligent, he always cowers if you raise your hands at all, even now, poor guy.
We're not completely sure how old he is, anything between 13-16. He's a lovely old boy. He's got a couple of cysts on his neck at the moment, vet says that they're not dangerous and should go away naturally. Don't seem to be causing him any pain, but I still feel sorry for him.
A bit deaf, but very obedient.
Sparky
Sparky lives in Ireland with my grandmother. He's about 7 now. Found him when he was a puppy, completely infested with worms. He was tiny and not fully weened. Only about the size of my hand. He's grown up a lot now though. He's full of beans, really happy boy. A collie cross I believe. Not sure with what though, seeing as he's so small
He's a bit wily and mischievous, has a Napoleon complex. Too cute not to love though, he's like a spoilt child.
Jake
My mother got Jake a couple of years after I left Ireland in 2001. He's coming up to 4 now. He's a big baby. Extremely strong though. Not the easiest to walk when he gets excited over something. He's a lab/collie cross. Great temperament and very intelligent, follows loads of commands, very obedient. Love him to bits.
He's a bit dirty in these photos I know, we'd just taken him for a walk along the river, he did get a bath, don't worry
!
Oh, and although I don't have any pictures with me, I have to leave a little tribute to my first dog, Brownie. He was a British Spaniel. A really beautiful dog, miss you!
