I haven't been on much, too busy. Dealing with a sick dog and one having knee surgery and then the death of my beloved Mandy (see memorials).I have been lurking and posting occasionally.

thanks!...We were told by the shelter we adopted Lacey from that she was a Doberman mix. When I got her she looked more like a GSD. We can see Rottie in her too. I guess we'll never be sure. ...We do know Laylas mom was 1/2 GSD and 1/2 Lab, the father is unknown.

she's DEFINITLEY part rotty, i can see my dog in her a mile away! her eyes and hind legs gave it away!! she has the snout of a lab for sure (my other dog). pardon my acronymphobia but what's GSD?

I agree, I see more Rottie than Dobie. Sorry, GSD is German Shepherd Dog. Yes, her hind legs must be Rottie, they are prone to bad knee ligaments. Lacey has had both of hers operated on and is lucky to be walking.

wow that is lucky! my rotty blew cruciates in both her back legs, i cried for tyhe whole 2 months it took for my parent's to clue in she had to be put down, 90lb dog that can't walk, hmmmmm. your dogs are precious!

mulder-I'm sorry to hear about your rottie. We worry so much about Laceys legs, she's only 6. I hope they hold up a long time.
nikky-yes, Layla looks like a different puppy than what I brought home.
