She was on petfinder, but she's with me now. She is so scared, but she's very curious and is trusting me a little. I can't touch her or pick her up at all because she's extremely hand-shy, but with a little help from Bil-Jack liver treats, she's coming around! LOL I brought her home yesterday and this morning she took a couple treat out of my hand! The first one was fast, but then she slowed down and figured out I'm not going to take them back.
She's choosing to spend most of her time in her kennel and I'm leaving the door on it open so she can come and go as she pleases. We aren't having much luck with the papertraining, but she had only just started catching on to that at her foster mom's house. I have her confined to one room so she isn't overwhelmed with a huge new space.
She's very curious and is interested in the toys I got her, but so far isn't too sure "how" to play. I think she saw the other dogs play with toys enough that she knows it's fun and she's very interested when she sees me playing with them. LOL The closest she's come to playing is walking after a tennis ball when I roll it across the room.
She'll only be here a couple of weeks and then she'll go back to the rescue to have her puppies. She'll be there until the pups are weaned and I'll visit her as much as possible and then she'll be coming "home" for good!
She's got a wonderful personality and with a lot of love and patience I know she's going to be a really sweet girl!
Here are some pictures of her. She was very curious with the camera and doesn't seem to be scared of it at all!
