my new doggie - Paw Talk

well, i got a new doggie

her name is Chaquita (like the banana). i picked that name cause when she lays on her stomach she spreads her legs like she's doing a split...which made me think of banana splits. :laughing: i can't figure out what kind of dog she is. they said chihuahua/pug. i don't see that at all. just the tail is pug-like (long and curls up and over). well, any help with the breed ques would be welcome. she is so cool and i think her and penny will be great sisters.

I couldn't tell you what breed- doesn't look pug to me ether but pugs do come in black with curly tails. I guess it's very possible she is what they told you.

Thank you guys. i had a hard time picking her name (i always hate picking names), but i really liked chaquita and it seemed to fit. and i won't be embarrassed yelling it outside at my apt complex. she is fitting in well so far. she sleeps on the bed with penny and i. penny gets jealous every once in a while, but i think she likes having someone to play with when i'm gone or busy. plus, they are only 1 month apart so i can feed them the same puppy food. good thing cause chaquita eats out of penny's bowl.
