Question

Need to know the best way to stop biting and barking

I am currently on wits end trying to come up with ways to teach my 14 week old German Shepard "Ceszar" to stop biting and barking. I've tried loud noise when he barks and get no response. As far as the biting I've raised my voice and said "ouch" and "no" and substituted Toys when he does this behavior and I am unsuccessful. I want to enroll him into obedience training and have been unsuccessful finding it in my area unless I'm willing to drive to a bigger city and that is not in my time schedule. So if anyone knows of anyone or an organization in or around the Iola, Kansas area it would be very helpful to me and my family since we are new to the area. Thanks!!!!!
