NEVER Give Your Dog Chicken Or Turkey Bones!

Apparently you are NOT to give dogs chicken bones and deffinatly not turkey ones.
I gave my dog chicken bones and my poor dog couldn't go,
hed try and try to where his butt would actually bleed.
So we took him to the vet and they said he had a bunch of bones like stuck in him.
They had to pull em out of him, use a toob, and a iv too!
I knew not to give my dog turkey bones, but I didn't think it would hurt with chicken bones because for years we gave him them, but I guess I gave him too many that time, plus we we tryed laxatives, but obviously it didnt work!
So if your dog is in that situation, Take him to the Vet, or your dog will die!

The reason you don't give avian bones (turkey, chicken, duck, etc) is that the large bones from these birds are hollow.

This means they tend to splinter into long, sharp fragments if the dog doesn't chew them well enough. These long fragments can act like knives in the gut. They can pierce and tear the walls of the stomach or intestines.

Very bad indeed!
