New puppy! New puppy! - Paw Talk

Okay, we've had Mugsy the Pug for several months now. She's a retired breeder and the worlds best and easiest dog! But alas she is a very social animal who suffered the trauma of having puppies taken away from her too early time after time and she is now in our house by herself getting lonely and bored while we are at work. So after some careful thought (or ya know total impulsiveness and lack of control when it comes to buying animals) we made the decision to get Mugsy a companion. This is where Albus (named after Dumbledore from Harry Potter) comes in. He is a pure white really calm approx. 10 week old schnauzer puppy that's already fairly housebroken and very good and sweet. They're still sniffing and checking eachother out but in general Mugsy seems to approve of our addition and she has started some maternal behaviors like snuggling with him, cleaning him, correcting him when he plays too rough and protecting him from my mother's miniature pinscher. The min pin was actually just trying to play with the pup, but Mugsy hates all min pins and she was not about to let that horrible yippy dog play with her pup!! I will post pics soon. He's precious!
