Even though it looks pretty funny .... Just got home with Dutchy, he got some snazzy new duds! That's a halloween print bandana around his neck - LOL It goes well with the bandages.

He had two nasty puncture wounds, and some degloving on the right foot, OUCHIE. Doc said they spent over an hour cleaning them up. He's amazed (so am I) that nothing was broken. Just a lot of soft tissue trauma/damage ... But, he goes in Monday afternoon to get the bandages off (replaced?).

He'll look even funnier tomorrow morning, I have to put plastic bags around his feet so they don't get wet ... poor doggie.

(Oh, and on the bandages - if they were degloving wounds, it'll probably just be a change ... he'll likely be bandaged for several weeks, depending on the severity. Pamper him after the changes, b/c they're no fun!

Awww, look at Dutchie! I think he looks cute in his blue bandages - the bandana even matches!

But....I would love to see a pic of him with the plastic baggies on!

He looks like he's taking it well!
I have a funny baggie story! One of Ira's parent's dogs broke a leg and had to have a cast. Well, it's all sand around here and the cast was open toe so we had to do the whole baggie thing. He got to where when he had to go potty he would plop down next to you and stick his cast up to get his baggie on!
