I think you guys hit the nail on the head. I've been so happy with them today.. just watching them and enjoying every second to the fullest.
Polo was "gross" at the dog pound all greesy and generally nasty/mean looking (unless you took the time to see the beauty within) and Chelsea was so dang depressed after Samson was laid to rest. Of course the entire family has been down and out since then...
Now, Polo is romping around and getting along so well with everyone. Chelsea is running and playing and smiling again. The kids can't stop laughing at them. Hubby is grinning from ear to ear because "Polo likes him best" etc etc...
It's a very welcomed emotion around here. I doubt I could ever express the feeling appropriately outside of just knowing that Polo not only belongs here but was seriously needed here. Polo is going to be able to retire spoiled rotten and lavishly loved and he has already payed us back 200 times over by lifting the spirits of a home that was getting to be dangerously gloomy.

Deb. I forgot to tell you, I watched the video from home and it took 20 minutes for it to load. That is how badly I wanted to see it. Great video and it was wonderful seeing Chelsea and Polo in action.

Deb, it took 30 seconds to load! Not a problem here! I tell you, it brings tears to my eyes to see all the love and happiness you have brought to Polo and he has brought to all of you! Chelsea especially seems to have the "all the world is right" in her eyes They way she runs Polo in circles is just too funny though...you can totally see him saying "Forget this running stuff, she'll be back....THEN, I'll GET HER!"
