My cats used to get into the bathroom garbage all the time. I just bought a garbage can with a lid and that solved the problem.

My boyfriend's aussie does this also. We keep the bathroom door shut (or try to anyway).

I'd get a can with a lid. My pups sometimes chew up their dirty wee mats if I don't pick them up 2 times a day! ...my dogs have also stole undies, dirty socks, etc out of the laundry room and ate them! I caught my pup wearing my lacey undies on his head, laying on his back, biting them! Dogs are little nasties sometimes.

Just cover it with something for now until you can get a lid...or get a tall one that they can't get into.

LOL. Yah, I've heard of this before. Your dog isn't weird, just very dog-like! Haha.

This just reminded me of a really funny, but embarrasing story that happend to an old friend of mine. She had put the big garbage bag outside that had lots of...well... garbage in it, lol, and her and her daughter had just finished their monthy's, so it had lots of used pads in it as well. Well, one of her dogs got loose and decided that the garbage was an awesome thing to get into and that it would be fun to spew it all across the yard (and she has a HUGE yard) She found out about it by a person coming over to see one of her foster dogs. I can't imagine how embarassed she must have been and how fun it was to clean up, lol.

Oh yes...the pad chewers!
My mom's dog does it and some of my fosters have done it.I keep the bathroom door closed now and none of my fosters are allowed in there unless I am there as well. Otherwise the door stays closed now. It can be messy and gross.

you could get a trash can with a childproof lock (i assume they make them)
My cat one time when my sister's boyfriend was over ran down with her thong underwear. and she had to chase him around the house to get it. hehehe.

funny stories but very imbaressing,,...I don't know what to tell you because all of my dogs have never done that xD. But then again most of my dogs were either small chichi's that were scared to go in the bathroom without me OR were puppies that stayed by my 24/7 and when they got old enough were put outside. Good luck =]

I would get a trash can with a lid as well, relying on everyone keeping the door closed prolly wont work, someone will be in a hurry and forget and guests prolly wont know to keep it shut. if you have a cabnet under the sink or somewhere thats not really used, you could keep a little trashbin under there so she couldnt get to it.
