Operations...
Has anyones pet ever had some unusual operations?
My dog Sabre (deceased) had something wrong with his tinkler when he was a pup. It only had a tiny hole in it so he had to have it cut open.
Then a month later he swallowed a champagne cork and had to have it cut out and then another month later he had to have a stone removed that he had swallowed.
Crazy hound.

Other than my dogs being spayed and neutered my Chihuahua (also deceased) had to have some growths by her eyes removed. That's the only surgery any of my dogs have had to have.

Not mine, but we removed a retained testicle from a dog yesterday...from the NAVAL AREA! (over 11 years, it wandered...also almost a complete tumor by then)

I had a tumor removed out of the throat of a hamster because it was in the salivary glands and it couldn't eat. Then had to put little Max down because he grew a tumor in the back of his neck. The vet said there was too great a chance it was in his brain, too.
I had an absess of some kind removed out of the back of my first rat.
No odd surgeries in a dog, but I've only been a dog owner for 5 months.

Lesson: Remember to take time to think about what's truly important. Oh, and give your pets a hug.

No weird surgeries done on my dogs but I did have a goat with a broken leg (caused by the billy goat) and she needed a pin put in her hip.

Rodents tend to get growths a lot.
My mates hamster had 2 removed and my brothers rats had loads removed.
