glad to hear all went well. the wobbliness could be from being sedated i know when tigger was sedated she was really wobbly when we got her home and was for a day or so.

Thanks, guys.
She slept for a few hours and then I tried to feed her. She's not really into eating, but they said that would be normal cause of the sedation. She did eat a couple of vanilla dog cookies and licked at some heated up kibble and wet dog food. But she just didn't seem that interested and she started to look naseous. So I just let her be.
I'll keep you guys updated. She's just panting and licking a lot right now, so Jim is giving her light scratchies to keep her from licking and to keep her feeling good.

Thank you.
Update:
She's been hiding under the bed for a long time and when she finally came out (about 20 minutes ago), she went under the couch. She had her pain medicine earlier (at about 10pm - so almost 5 hrs ago), and I don't think she's in too much pain. But I can't really tell cause she's hiding. ??? I think she's just sad and scared.

Jane I'm so glad to hear everything went well, what a relief! Bless her heart!
It sounds like it's probably a combination of the sedation and pain medications still. I know when they gave Kahlua a shot of a certain pain med for his back and sent home the pills for us to give him, he was having a strange reaction to them. It was making him all spaced out sort of, yet he was feeling no relief, does that make sense? Called and we got different meds, actually he needed a muscle relaxer but ok I'm going off on a tangent! lol.
But I see you posted that at like 3 am! How is Miss Penny feeling today?

She is a little better today. Jim and I slept on the living room floor and Penny was under the couch when we went to sleep. But when we woke up, she'd moved onto our blankets with us. Tonight, she ate a whole serving of warmed up food and drank a little water. Then I took her outside (carried her) and she peed. Then she ran right back in and laid down on the blankets and went to sleep. I'm about to give her her pain medicine right now.
Thanks, guys.

Thanks.
She is on the floor with Jim, but won't stop panting. I tried to take her outside, but she ran right back inside and onto the blankets. I think she's in pain. I am calling the vet tomorrow about getting her stronger meds. She just pants, yawns and puts her head down (to sleep). Then she starts panting again.

Aww, poor little Penny! Jane, I am sorry she has to go through this. I am continuing to keep her in my thoughts and prayers. Please let us know what the vet says.

I'm glad to hear she got through the surgery okay. Hopefully the vet will be able to help with better meds.

Oh geez Jane, that sounds weird about the panting. Has she been eating or going to the bathroom at all last night or today? I hope the vet can give her something stronger or let you know whats going on.
