we went to an adoption event today that was hosted by the vet/rescue who we got reggie from. it was really cool because they had a hyperflight competition there too. i think that reggie could be really good at that as well as agility. it was so sad though all the animals (mostly dogs) that need homes. at least they were in no kill places but still they need a family to love them not just live their lives in kennels anyway we had a ton of fun and got some good deals on toys for the dogs.

we have a couple of those a year, mass adoption things at the college or fair or such...they are always so nice to attend and support...I am glad you had fun and I agree its heart breaking to see all the unwanted animals

it's a good thing you have to fill out small books to adopt them and that there are restrictions on how many animals they will let you have cause i would take them all home with me, i just can't stand seeing all those sad faces with nowhere to go. some of the dogs would come up to the cage and stand sideways just so you could pet them. it just seems like no matter how much you do and how many you give homes it's not enough cause there are so many more who still need families. it is just sooo frustrating.
