This is EXTREMELY HORRIBLE about what happened to Kacey the chocolate lab. JUSTICE NEEDS TO BE SERVED!! Here is the link to the article about what happened to her. It is too graphic to be posted.

but i don't know the info on the case to know if this 17 yr. old kid is the guilty party. i don't want to sign it if it will lead to his conviction and he's innocent.

if i sign it, will it just be applied to whoever they catch?

Well, the petition says, word for word:

"We the people that have signed this petition, after reading the article below , demand that YOU the Judge hearing this case uphold your ethical responsibilities and see that the accused person(s) get handed the maximum disciplinary action for this horrific crime toward an animal."

So I don't think that necessarily means the teen. I think it just means that this case is so horrible that whoever did it should face the maximum amount of punishment.
But I'm not sure! So don't sign it if you have mixed feelings cuz I wouldn't want anyone to do that without knowing!
I am glad you asked, too, it made me pay a lot more attention to it than I probably would have, given how emotional the article itself made me.
