Thanks for all the compliments!
To answer your questions... there isn't much fancy grooming for them. You should be brushing them probably just a little every day (or at least once a week... ) but there isn't much as far as trimming, etc. I personally bathe mine almost every week, but that's actually just me (most people don't do it that often). The breed standard actually says NOT to trim (he's not a show dog, but I like the feathering and most people leave it htat way. ). The only thing that sometimes is nice to trim is the fur between the pads of their feet... that gets kind of long and they start slipping.
Sandy weighs about 15.8 pounds or so (huge, eh?)
The one "bad" thing about Cavs is that they are pretty costly. THe reason for this is that they have a bunch of health issues (e.g. heart murmurs... I think 50% have them by age 5 and almost 100% by age 9 or so.

) It's important to get a cav from health tested parents, and there are other things they should be tested for too. All the testing ends up making them a bit expensive. But... they really are worth every penny.

And much more.
Personalities.... they are total cuddle bugs. LOOOVVVEEE people (well, obviously not every one is going to love people, but generally speaking.). They don't like being away from their owners and stuff for too long, so not exactly great for working families. Love children, but are small, so you do have to be somewhat careful with children that aren't very gentle.
Can't think of anything else in particular to tell you all... if anyone wants to PM me about them feel free.

I could talk about Cavs aaaalll day.
