Pictures of Our Dogs - Paw Talk

Here are a few pictures of the dogs.

Rhea is my 10 year old black & white female Husky. She's my girl, been in my life longer then my husband or daughter and is only beaten by my best horse by one year. My husband is dreading the reaction when something happens to either the dog or the horse, but hopefully we will have many more years with both before we have to worry about it. Besides the typical husky tendencies to run and pull, she is the best dog ever (in my completely unbiased opinion of course).

Hunter is Dan's 8 year old yellow lab cross (He is the darker one in the picture above.). We took him home with us after a co-worker's son found him starving and running loose in the woods, called everyone that we needed to in hopes of finding his owner, but ended up keeping him and he's been a great dog. He absolutely loves people. About a week ago, he cut his leg on a nail and so we've been treating and wrapping that. Our daughter has been so cute taking care of him. On the day he went to the vet, she had him inside putting pillows underneath him and laying next to him to make sure he was ok. Every day she checks on him first thing. He just loves all the attention, though I'm sure he'll be happy when his leg is all healed. Teeko is the youngster of the bunch (He's the lighter one in the picture.). He is a 3 year old yellow lab cross and pretty much belongs to everyone. He's a happy guy that keeps everyone on their toes. He's mischevious, keeps the older two in shape and still gets into more trouble then the other two put together, but we love him. He was a Christmas gift gone wrong because the people that wanted him, did not want him to act like a puppy, so we ended up with him. Why go searching for them when they seem to find us, lol.

beautiful animals! I grew up with a choc lab and a rotty, the loyalty is phenominal! i'm so glad you shared your fam!

Awww I love your dogs!! We have a lab mix and you are so right about the loyalty. Plus he is sooooo patient with my 1 year old.

wow...there are some beautiful dogs...My mom would die if she saw you're husky...lol she loves them!

I've been where you are. Getting one of my dogs euthanized and my hubby also thought I would go bonkers. Hope my horse will last for a long time, he's only 15, so lots of time, barring any accident.

My husband is more of a lab person too. He loves my husky, but really wants a dog that acts like a dog instead of a dog that acts like a cat and listens and wants attention on her own terms, lol.

Thanks Doris! I hope we have a lot of time left with all of them. It is so hard to go through a loss when you are so attached to them.

We think they are great dogs, but could possibly be a little biased, lol.
