Gulf Port Doberman Rescue has been severely affected by hurricane Katrina! As you probably know Gulf Port is one of the areas that was nearly wiped out recently. Please help if you can.

I have come to know many of you through our love of our chosen
breeds. Our Rottie friends have gone above and beyond to help us
out. I hope that Katrina left little impact on the SSRR family. If
you are getting this from me it's because I know you love animals or
are in rescue work.
Unfortunately the same cannot be said for GCDR and the thousands of
animals that are now homeless in the LA/MS area. Most of our
fosters were in New Orleans or the Mississippi Gulf Coast area. We
have lost our vets (Gulfport and New Orleans) We are having to
place fosters into OK Dobe rescue. We are in desperate need of
Heartguard 50# and over and frankly we just need money to feed and
continue various treatments for the dogs. I have two fosters that
will remain with me forever if necessary, but both are HW+ and were
scheduled for treatment next month. I have one foster that we
pulled from Gautier, MS on the 26th. She needs to be fully vetted.
I am asking for any and all help any of you can send. Money,
heartguard, vaccines, wormings, ect. Our founder has lost
everything, she was located in Gulfport. We need someone to build
us a new website as our founder was the one who did all of that.
We just need help we are determined to survive this. We are the
ONLY Dobe rescue in a 2 state area and we service 2 other states as
well. Please cross post this, we need all the help we can get.
Kindest Regards,
