Porter Update - Paw Talk

An update on Porter.Because of his conditions and whatnot and where the vet says he will probably only live about another year,which is a sin (he is only about 6 yrs)...he is no longer adoptable.He is quite content living at the office (altho personally I think a home would be better) and is used to the kennel routine there.Plus he gets all kinds of attention,so he may be staying there,unless we can find a GOOD foster home for his last year.He is getting alot better on his meds tho!!

Porter is actually doing quite well.He is in a foster home and is doing really,really well.The woman who is fostering him really adores him,who knows...she may actually keep him.I have gotten to see him today,as he walked in the parade and he did look so much better!

I am so happy that he is settling into a nice foster home. He looks like such a sweetheart. I am sure his foster mom will want to keep him. Even though he only has a short time he has a lot of love to give. Tabby taught us that older pets can be the best pets.
