Puppies

We just had puppies and we would like to keep one, which would be better to keep male or female. Both parents are living in the same house and they are bullmastiffs.

Thanks for the advice

That's a tough call. It really depends. Do you intend to breed the parents again? The puppy ever? Do you prefer males over females?

Personally... i'd keep a male. That's just me though.

I think it is a personal call. As Chrisanne said it all depends on your plans for the Dog. Pet , breeding and show's. I am sure you will make the right call. Enjoy the pups. Bull mastiffs are so cute!

It depends on personality. Not as much on Sex. I personally like Males. However I have rescued several fem males and butch females.

So pick the personality you like best and go with that one.

Usually the father doesn't get along with the son that much when it gets older. That happened to my Grandpa when he kept the male out of his Doberman litter and they fought all the time.

Awww, I bet those pups are cute. I love the giant breeds.

I prefer males myself, but I guess it would depend on their personalities, temperment, your preferences, etc. I'd pick whichever one you feel fits in best with the family!
