ques about BARF diet


i just have to know...
what exactly does BARF stand for? i know what it is, but what do the letters stand for? thanks!

I think (but I'm not sure) that's it's bones and raw food. I think I did a google search on it once and found that.

It stands for Bones and raw food. They don't really use that name anymore, not commonly anyway. I guess people think it's gross sounding.

Here is a pretty good group that explains the foods that are fed and how to go about feeding the diet.

I like the first one better. Bones and raw foods just sounds really gross. And its kind of ironic that its called the BARF diet.
