Question about Dog Food

I have four German Shepherds that I've recently started on the Sam's Club Professional Chicken and Rice formula. To my surprise, this product has no by products, with a protein level of thirty percent. Has anyone used this product? And if so, what kind of success have you had with the product? Thanks for the response.

Never tried it, never would. Sams Club is equal to ol Roy. YUCK.

30% protein is awfully high IMO.

My dogs were eating Eukanuba, but have recently been switched to Canidae. No fillers, no by products, no bha, no corn... they are doing great on it so far.

I knew Wal-Mart had "Ol Roy" food, but I didn't know Sam's Club had their own brand.

Royal Canin actually makes a dog food specific for German Shepherds. In fact, the police officers use that food for their canine unit.

I don't know about the Sam's Club stuff, but store brands like that are usually not too good for the animals.
I've been using Nutro Max and Nutro Natural for my pits. We've used the Nutro products for years and have had great success

Sam's Club Exceed Dog Food

Thank all of you very much for the quick response about the dog food! I really appreciate the information. I used Nutro's lamb and rice formula, but my shepherds continued to have soft stool. This is the only reason I tried the Exceed dog food because it had no by-products, or BHA preservatives. I will look into the royal canin, or the candidae! Thanks again for the input.
