quick question

before i qualified for state spaying, coco's estimate was $220 for her spaying, $95 for her umbilical hernia....quote good for $60 days.

i qualify for state spaying, so now it's $10 for her spaying, and $140 for her umbilical hernia.

the vet said they are charging me for the price increase for her umbilcal hernia is because that's what's "adequent".

why?

adequate? maybe her hernia will require extra time to repair. or meds in case of complications? so many meanings for that

so that's what the vet said...but my response is that...didnt they factor that in the first time they quoted her?

i really dont know. what does her qualifying for spaying mean? you should ask for a little write up of the breakdown of the costs

well, she did the first time which is supposedly good for 60 days....but when i came back to sign for state spaying (i qualify cause i'm disabled so the state's paying for it) they gave me another broken down estimate at $140...

i asked them then....they told me the manager would get back to me...didnt...so i called them a few times, didnt get a hold of her today.

she said because i qualify for state spaying, they had to charge me what's adequent...hence raising the price of the umbilcal hernia.

which i dont understand.

Ask them to explain why that's adequate. All that means is that they have to charge you what's necessary. WHY is it necessary? WHY couldn't they have told you that before?
