Regurgitating on carpet a lot??

Well my bichon frise, who's about 3 years old, has been throwing up on our carpets often. Not much, just a little bit, but you can catch her in the act sometimes and there's little stains everywhere. Is this because of her food? Is there some kind of food that might help this? She isn't ill or anything, but would a visit to the vet be necessary? She's been doing this for quite some time, and I've been oblivious to why. What could it be?

Nikko will become famous soon enough
My parents pomeranian does this a lot when he drinks too much water. I recommend bringing her to the vet though just to be safe.

my dog does the same thing but alot when he eats the wrong type of treats that don't agree with his tummy. Either way set up a vet appt. just to be safe.

Sounds like a good plan. She, being a bichon, has very curly, wiry hair (actually more like hair than fur) and she often tries to groom herself. Is it possible she's getting "hair balls"? I've seen this happen before with her. Could it possibly be her food, or allergies?

sometimes our poms lick too much of their hair in their mouth and get 'hairballs' but they just eat grass and puke a lil..it's kinda foamy and OUR vet said it was ok. pretty normal... i would check w/your vet just in case though

my dog Puppers does it as well...it happens if he eats something that doesn't agree with him or his nerves get to him...the vet said we had to check all treats for no fish products of anykind and we try to make the enviroment as stress free as possible (hes old and loud noises get to him) I to suggest a vet visit just to make sure its not something else

does she eat alot of grass? If so this could also be a good reason. But a vet visit could hurt.
