Jeff is spoiling Riley so bad! Yesterday we went for a drive and Riley just HAD to sit in his lap (I was driving). We went to some scenic tourism areas that are about a 45 minute drive from where I live because we were so bored. At these scenic areas there are steps going down to the river......LOTS of stair steps. At the first one Riley was a little scared to go down so Jeff carried her down. Riley walked back up no problem. We go to another scenic area where there are natural springs at the bottom of this huge hill. There is a minimum of 200 stair steps. Once again Riley was scared to go down so Jeff carried her all the way down. I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee my pants.
Riley weighed in at a hefty 32 pounds at our last
vet visit about 2 weeks ago. She's gaining about 2-3 pounds per week, so I'm guessing she's about 40 pounds now! Anyway, I'm thinking that Riley would walk up the stairs like she did at the other scenic site. NOPE! She could see through the steps and decided she was suddenly afraid of heights and wouldn't budge. I gently tugged on her leash to encourage her to walk up. Nope, not happening. Jeff was getting a little upset with me because I was trying to make her walk up the stairs. He picked her up and carried her all the way to the top.

That sounds like something my dad would do if we had a dog. 
I've been frosted! 
Of course Mandy has me wrapped pretty tight too!
