It seems like the little girl is in a happier home.
I hate it when people do this to animals.I hope in the future whoever they are that did that to the pup is repayed several times over for what they done.(Not in a good way either)

i think we should start using these people as bait for say a big pool of sharks
it is so sickining to think people like that are out there ms ellie is so lucky to be away
from those sickos and in your families loving arms OH it just infuriates me that they
will find another to use like that and get some kind of thrill out of it omg

Update
Today is one year from my uncle's death. My aunt and Miss Ellie are helping each other heal tremedously. They have such love and support for each other.
Miss Ellie is doing great with my aunt. She now eats treats from your hand, which before she ran away. Now, she knows what toys are, and runs around the house with them in her mouth.
She is still afraid of men, well, strangers anyway. My cousin has been going over every other day, so she can get use to him. He actually lays completely on the floor and just holds a treat out to Miss Ellie. Miss Ellie now comes up to him takes the treat, runs away, eats it, and then comes back to kiss his hand, almost to say, "thank you."
She is back to normal weight. And she loves to run around the yard. This girl likes to run! A couple of times, when she got scared of the neighbor next door, she tried to dig out of the back yard, she got out once and ran like crazy.
My aunt found her when she returned after looking for her, Miss Ellie was laying on the front steps. My aunt was so happy, because she realized that Miss Ellie feels safe and secure at her home, and would come back, god forbid this happened again.
I am glad that we were able to find Miss Ellie, she is truly a love. I think she is glad we found her too, because she knows what love is now.

I am so glad your Aunt and Miss Ellie found each other.. May they have many happy times together.. And lets hope Miss Ellie forgets her past..
