Shepherd Mix Puppies
Here are a few pics of the remaining Shepherd mix pups we are fostering. Their mom was a pure breed German Shepherd who passed away about a week after they were weaned (she didn't make it through her spaying she was about 9yrs. old). We took in 4 of the 10 pups that a lady found along with mom, and now we have the 2 males left, and we are growing very attached to them, I guess you can say we have a small herd going here. Between Ajax (the white pup), Beau (the black pup), the Rotties and our original 2 (Tabitha and Scooby) we have our handsful, not to mention the kitties we've taken in.

They are adorable. The white one looks almost like a lab in the picture than a shepard, I wonder what he will look like fully grown he's gorgeous. Looking at all your pictures its amazing the amount of absolutely beautiful animals there are by you.

Thanks everyone.... lol sassy....Ajax is darren's favorite. We believe the dad was one of those sheep hearding dogs, as he was the only white male that was seen around the parco where they were all found. We took them to the vet again last week, and Ajax is almost 28 pounds and Beau was just over 25 pounds and they were approx. 12 weeks old, so they are gonna be good sized dogs. Capn' you really want to know the total?? haha... as it stands right now we have 6 dogs and 4 cats, which isn't too bad considering about a month ago we were up to 10 and 5
It will be much easier to handle more fosters when we move, we have found a much bigger place with plenty of romping space for the dogs.... The downstairs is a giant court yard type area with a 20ft. wall around it, and there are 6 large storage areas, with doors, that we are going to convert into kennels (well 3 at least). We are going to remove the upper part of the doors and place them safely in another storage area and replace that with chicken type wiring. This giving the idea of a large closed in kennel, this way all fosters will have cover, warmth in the winter (putting in heating lamps) and plenty of ventalation, also putting in standing fans for the summer, yet seperate from our dogs. We have fostered a few that have looked pretty bad and I want to be sure that all the foster's will have their own space until all the proper blood work is done

oh they are soooo adorable!!! I really like the name Ajax for a dog and considered it myself but I don't think the chemical free cleaning company I work for would have been overly impressed!!!lmbo
