Sibling Rivalry

Hi all, We rcently got 2 Puppies, so called brothers, they are
farm bred, so called Bull Mastiff cross Red Setter. After first Vetinary check,our Vet said " One 'Slash'
is definitely a Rottweiler Cross,the other 'Axe'
a Bull Mastiff Cross, but not Red Setter".
I have been told from a friend that having 2
brothers will cause problems with sibling rivalry.
Can anybody verify or enlighten me on this?

I dunno about two brothers, but I rescued two sisters about 6 months ago... and I'm seeing a good amount of rivalry between them. I also have two other dogs (four total), and they would prefer to play together, not with the others. They compete for food, toys, attention, with each other - and the other dogs aren't even factored in. Its almost like they are in their own little world.

Interestingly enough, they're supposed to be German Shepherd X Staffordshire Terrier... but one of them definitely has no terrier in her - she actually looks more like a tall dachshund.
