ABOUT US
Southland Dog Training has been owned and operated by Vince Reina, Master Trainer, since 1986. Vince graduated from Mandelyn Kennel's Master Trainer's Course in Bakersfield, California, and has had the opportunity to work with trainers from all over the world, including ex-military and police. All of Southland’s professional instructors are personally hired by Vince, and only the most qualified trainers join the Southland team. Southland Dog Training Instructors come to YOUR home in Hillsborough, Polk, Pinellas, Orange and now Manatee and Sarasota counties, so you don't need to go ANYWHERE!
Programs offered by Southland Dog Training include:
OBEDIENCE. Obedience is not something your pet is inherently born with, it needs to be developed.
HOUSEBREAKING. Having a pet can be the best experience in the world, unless your pet is not housebroken.
PROBLEM SOLVING. Owning a pet can be fun, but there is little joy in having to replace chewed furniture, torn carpet, or even worse, your favorite pair of shoes.
BABY PROOFING If you are expecting, or have small children in the home with your dog(s), see how we can make an easy transition for you, your child and your beloved pet.
POOL SAFETY. Pools are popular in the state of Florida, and most likely with your dog too.
PUPPY KINDERGARTEN. The sooner you train your dog, the fewer problems you and your pet will have in the future.
Our service area has grown, and we have grown with it. Our commitment to our customers and their needs have made us who we are today. It has been a privilege to serve our local communities, and make so many friends along the way.
