yesterday while I was out getting my allergy shots and taking Ash to diner we heard the power was out over by our house...I was so scared...The puppies were at home in their crate and it was 103 outside (it gets so hot in the house, then in a covered crate, when they are in there we usually have the fan hitting the cage lol and they love it) when I opened the cage Libby bounded out and drank a ton...poor little leia was wilted, she was so hot...she was ok, but if we had not heard about no power things could have been worse...Leia is all better and the vet said she was ok (I didn't wanna take any chances)...she was just sapped of her energy for a bit...
So I wanted to send out a sumemr heat warning...remember to do all you can to protect your
fur babies from the heat...we are going to buy a generator tomorrow and we are planting bigger trees (more mature) for shade...I just was so scared yesterday and I wanted to make sure to remind everyone of the dangers of over heating...
They really do worry us dont they , i know what stress summer can bring with the heat i have pugs.
