Taking the puppers to work. - Paw Talk

I guess I feel pretty blessed. I am able to take my doxies to work with me. I work in a group home with mentally and physically challenged people, and they enjoy seeing the dogs, so it is not a problem with my boss.

I am going to be using Chester as a therapy dog. I would have done this with Minnie as well, but she can be a bit shy, so I don't think she is quite suited for the job. However she does love to walk to work with me.

Do any of you get to take your puppers to work with you?

No I don't take mne to work, but then I don't work out of the home right now.

I can take my guys to work with me. But then I work in a dog kennel.

When Beau was a puppy I took him with me to work all the time too, I worked in a kennel .

I can't, I work in an office.

I wish I could...although I don't think Tito would leave my lap...Snooper on the other hand would be off making friends with everyone.

When Snooper had puppies a few years ago, my boss let me bring the puppies in with me everyday for a couple of weeks. Snooper was in the animal hospital and unable to care for her pups so I got to hand feed them every 2 hours. Woo Hoo...load of fun...lol

I wish i could do that but
1. i don't have a dog (yet)
2. I am a waitress, it would be hard to deliver food, cleanly with a dog around! Hair in the food anyone?

aren't those the 5 food groups?

I think it would be so cool to be able to take your dog to work with you, Doxiesmom- that must be fun! Having a therapy dog must be so rewarding. I would love to do that one day.
