I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. You don't deserve this after all that you have gone through! But, God gave you all these "problem" dogs for a reason. He knows that you can take care of them and love them no matter what, and that they will always have a good home with you, unlike some people who throw sick dogs out of their house immediately. You were meant to have these dogs for a reason! Hang in there, it'll be okay!

one thing our jrts are examined for when they recieve their registration physical is luxating patella. this is basically a knee cap that can be popped out of place. there are varying degrees of seriousness. you can generally pop the knee cap around yourself by hand. get your dog checked out for your peace of mind

She hasn't limped at all today or yesterday.
Today she's TOTALLY DIFFERENT as she even seems happier and more playful like she was prior to Samson leaving us. Today's the first day she really seems to have "come to terms with it" and I have not seen her "looking for him or whining" like she had been doing all week long. (Samson may as well have been her puppy..she was very protective of him and loved him dear).
I'd say both her leg issue and her emotions are better today. It's a pleasant surprise. She even played frisbee for a bit this morning.

Oh no you've had enough! I'm hoping it was a one time thing, and all better. Another possibility is a torn ligament. My Lacey just had two surgeries to repair one that was ripped in half! We're not out of the woods yet, but praying she's all better. She started with a little limp and then while playing ball collapsed and to the vet! Some can be healed up with medicine and rest (not when one's ripped in half like Lacey) Her leg made a popping noise and still does some.
Sorry for ramblim on, I sure hope it is nothing!!!

sounds like she was mimicking after all. i'm so happy for you! you didn't need any more stress. remember: god never gives you more than you can handle. so when things get bad just tell yourself this: i'm already at my breaking point so this can't be happening. lol!
