Thunder

I was sat playing a comp game with the window open and a great crack of thunder sounded. I glanced at Indy to see his reaction not wanting to panic him and think there was anything scary about it.
He looked up, walked over to the window, ran to me, put his paws on my knee and barked at the window.
He was not afraid at all, he was protecting me from it. So every time it thundered he repeated this.

Awww, how cute. My puppy hasn't been in a thunder storm yet, it'll be interesting to see his reaction. I think he'll most likely be scared since just about every other noise scares him.

Aww! Nugget's reaction is always to go and hide her face or give us that look like, "Can you please make that noise stop". She's also scared to go outside when it's thundering! It's so funny to me because she's mixed with pitbull, which are tough dogs! lol

I thought Indy would be scared as sometimes he can be a right wimp but he was so brave

one of our dogs, Willie, will disappear into the closet or under the bed - total wimp. Dugan on the other hand, is all brave and barks and barks at it til it cracks again, then tucks his tail and hides behind ME.. lol

i think hagrid senses it, as do the dogs......he lays under his ramp and twitches his ears.

My cat just continued to sleep, and the my mom said the dog wouldnt fallow her to the basement. We didnt have power for a day because some fuse box was broken or something i remember waking up a huge serge of light comeing into my bed room and pine cones falling on the roof over my head.

Finland doesn't seen to get much thunder--at least not right now. It's mostly in the summertime that we get thunder.

But, Seamus goes CRAZY when there are fireworks. He start's bwoofing like mad, trying to tell us something is going on outside (like we don't know)!
