Toilet drinking
Does anyone elses dogs drink out of the toilet?
Myfanwy does even when there is fresh water upstairs. I think she is too lazy to walk up to the kitchen.

Yes, I've caught Dakota doing it here at my mom's. Its gross I agree.
What awful, and I mean downright replusive... when we're over at Cindy and Dan's (my inlaws) they follow that rule If its yellow let it mellow, If its brown flush it down... (NOTE-I don't care what they think and I flush no matter what!) but Kota will sneak into the bathroom's and I'll hear her drinking. I sneak up to catch her in the act and discipline her for it, to find out she isn't drinking JUST water, if you get my point.

Usch!
That is gross.
But we use a lot of toilet products and I worry about her drinking them. Must remember to pop the lid down.
And also why do they want to give you a nice big dripping kiss after?

we use no toilet products lol...we clean it and keep it shut for a few flushes, but both the cat and dog drink out of the toilet all the darn time, we have tried fresh water and everything...so we decided to not use any of the water turning color products or anything that stays in the bowl...its a pain, but I guess its life lol

i've got into the habit of keeping the seat down, but shadow does if he gets the chance. i had to learn becuase my roomies cat milo always tried to drink out of it and then would end up going for a swim. he wasn't the most agile cat, in fact he was very clumsy. He's who Millie is named after LOL.

our cats drink out of the toilet oncein a while... I keep my bathroom door shut because they like to make a mess of my dried flowers in there too. Solves two problems in one action.
