Gads, the poor dogs!

Yes, keep us updated, okay? Many hugs to the poor thing! You know...my dog was scratching something terrible, so I put him in a luke-warm bath (no soap) and gently ran my hands over him. (He's terrified of water) Anyway, I noticed an immediate improvement, and I did something I wouldn't recommend, but I gave him an allergy pill --25mg. It did help, but that was only so I could get him to the vet. The vet was terrific and couldn't find mites, fleas, or ticks. Charlie isn't scratching nearly as bad, but if he does it on a weekend, I do the same thing and take him back on Monday. Since what I'm doing is working the vet said it's okay for now. Personally, I wonder if his problem is nerves? In a matter of a week, five different dogs (all not fixed and all without leashes) tried to attack him. That's when I noticed the scratching. Some human contact and love is helping, though I still wonder about allergies.
I did find out he was severely allergic to milk products, and that may have contributed...and yes, he's young. I found out the hard way
