My dog farts sometimes too...icky..gross..dog farts can smell pretty bad.
But i think your concerned cuz you think it might be more than a fart, so to speak??
I know that one time my dog was "leaking" a smell and it also had a sorta discharge with it...kinda goopy and yellow, beige. It was very very foul smelling so i took her to the vet. It turned out it was because of a plugged anal gland. The vet took care of it and "unplugged it"
Do you see any type of discharge at all?
Some other symptoms....A dog with blocked anal glands may walk hunched, have difficulty defecating, or seem constipated. He may drag or scoot the butt on the carpet as if to scratch a painful itch on the area under the tail. Some dogs lick their butts excessively when they have problems. There is usually a very foul and distinctive smell.
Clearing, the anal sacs is something you could do at home, though you may want your vet to show you how to do it, at least for the first time. When the anal glands are expressed, pressure is applied to the gland, blowing out the blockage. The smelly fluid and chunks of poop is then collected and thrown out.
Its kinda icky and i would rather let the vet do it but thats just me.
