what kind of dog?
Was wondering if anyone knew what kinda dog this is? Sorry the pictures are really bad. these were taken a few weeks ago, We went out to Lesleys house cuz he called and said he saw a snake on his desk, so we went to help him get it out of the house. (i couldnt get a pic of the snake.. he was way too fast, but we think it was a baby rattler, didnt have any rattles tho)
Anyway Les said this dogs been hanging around the past few days cuz his dog was in heat. he thinks it belongs to one of the neighboring farms.
We were about to leave when i decided to snap a few pictures quick.. i thought maybe we could come back the next day and take some better ones but he was gone David said he thinks its a golden retriever, but ive never seen one so light colored, or so big for that matter.. could be a mute as well.. not really sure.. jus thought i'd asl what you all thought. he was a beautiful dog.

Pyrenese or mix of that breed. They are loyal herding dogs, will defend the herd with their lives.

Definatly NOT a Newfoundland. They are black mainly,or brown or black/white or brown/white (landseer)...as mentioned above.
To me it looks like a golden retriever or a great pyranees. That last pic really looks like a pyranees to me.

Kind of looks like a goat in that one picture LOL
Golden do come in very light colors- in parts of Europe they are almost white. Doesn't look like a golden's head to me, though. Is it as big as a Pyr?

Newfs can also be gray btw... I agree though, definately not a newf.
I'd say Golden or Pyr mix.

I'd say golden ret/yellow lab mix or full golden. It's head is too small to be a pyr.
