Question

What kind of dog is Emma.

Hi, everybody. I was just wondering if anybody would care to take a shot at figuring out my dog's (Emma) heritage. She was a foundling so nobody that knows her now knows what kind of dog she is. Our Vet told us Terrier and Shelty. This picture is not the best but it shows her tail and her long legs.
any ideas?

I am going to guess Saluki/Beagle- definite Saluki tail and hind quarters- Beagle ears/snout/head.

I would guess Saluki/Beagle also...I'm sorry, but I see no Sheltie there.

Getting some good input here! Yes, Emma is small - 20 pounds at her last Vet visit. I have never heard of a Saluki, I'll have to look that up. Her tail is amazing!

lol, I don't see beagle, I think her face is to narrow and her ears aren't the right shape...here is a saluki

I tried to find a good pic with the tail upright so you could see it

Or maybe some Mudi, but I'm not sure. I just was looking at all the breed on AKC.org and those are the 2 I think that look the most similar.
