Where is Sydney?!!
I woke up this morning and reached over to pet Sydney as I do every morning. But she wasn't on the bed. So I sat up and looked around the room -- nothing. I listened closely and heard her breathing, but she was no where to be found!!
I got up and looked around the room. Just guess where I found her??  |

 I didn't know you had a dog! She has the same color and wavey fur as our dog. What kind is Sydney?
Maybe she was hot and just cooling off!
I woke up this morning to find our dog in bed with us. She usually sleeps with our daughter, but she was at a sleep over last night.

masterjack, how sweet that her next choice for a sleeping partner was you!!  What kind of dog is she??
Sydney is a Schnauzer/Cocker mix with a little dash of chicken thrown in for good measure.  She's 14.5 years old and I've had her since birth (I used to be owned by the mother and she was born in my house).
That's sweet of you to think that she voluntarily got off the bed and took her place somewhat under the bed, but truth be known, she will sometimes fall off the bed in the middle of the night *thud* and is too "elderly" to make it back up on the bed by herself.  Most nights, she'll sit on the floor next to my side of the bed and whimper until I wake up and scoop her back up on the bed again!! She also has trouble holding her bladder and bowel during the night and when that happens, her daddy gets up and takes care of that. Kinda like having a baby, isn't it?? 
And speaking of baby, the only way she'll eat her food is if I smother it with a jar of baby food. Must be either chicken, turkey or ham flavor for her to even touch it!

Hey, Linda -- like the bedding, huh? The walls are purple!!!  (More like a pale violet, kinda like the purple color scheme here on PT). It took me a long time to find bedding that would match the walls. Thank you! DH just tolerates the purple...

She is a beauty, isn't she?? She has been sooo spoiled her entire life! You think I'm protective and loving and over cautious with my piggies, multiply that by 1,000 and you've got how Sydney's been treated her whole life! I brought her into the marriage and Fred has loved her like his own from the start. I love to "accidentally" overhear him talking sweetly to her...  |

awww - the sexiest thing to me is to watch a man be sweet, tender and gentle with animals and children
