Why on earth do we own dogs for?

I wish Mal! He wasn't home and he doesn't 'do' dog vomit anyway. Oe of the dogs will besick and I'll be in the shower or something and he'll come and tell me they were sick and then leave it..doesn't even throw paper towel over it cause 'it's gross!'

Carmen, the first time I gave Molly canned salmon, she vomited the next morning. I managed to get most of it on Dave's shirt that was on the floor but some of it got on the rug. It's quite difficult to get salmon odour out of carpet! So, I told Dave "since I cleaned it up, you need to get the steam machine and clean the rug". Hey, fair is fair! He wasn't too happy she barfed on his shirt but I am the one that does the laundry! Men can be such big babies sometimes!

I tell Alex that I'll clean dog vomit but when Emily is older and has stomach viruses he can clean up after her!

And NOTHING it worse than when you have a sick child who has diarrhea AND a sick stomach! I got food poisoning when I was 13 and believe me, I truly feel sorry for my great-grandmother who had to clean up behind me when the first wave hit.

this is completely unrelated to dogs. But I hear this story all the time. Growing up i had really bad motion sickeness. I think i was about a year and a half. I was sitting in the front seat (before they made airbags and stuff a child could sit in the front). I guess i was crying or upset so my dad gave me one of those cloth covered books. about 10 min from my grandparnts and 10 min to our house i got sick all over the place. My dad was getting sick to and had his head out the window. I guess it smelt really fowl. My mom came home from work with all four doors open and the hatch back open he didnt even bother to clean it. i guess he took my clothes off in the bath or something redicules. All she could do was laugh. but to this day if i get sick or one of the animals get sick you can hear him gagging in the other room. I managed to pick up this trait.
