Could i do it, if being attacked and especially bitten, yep i could and would. A dog, big or small, that aggressive has no place in society, the sooner it is taken out of it the better. The officer shot in defence and saved anyone else from possible danger.

As for the owners, well they need to learn some hard lessons also.

a small dog biting is often a sign of fear ect personally i think there would have been other ways this situation could have been treated rather than shooting the animal

if it was a large dog that actually posed a significant threat to the officer i would react differently.

i dont think i could have! he could of just hit the dog on the head lightly but enaugh to shock him and give the police man the advantage. though that would be hard for me to do, its better then shooting the dog 3 times!

Look at it this way, we can all say we would or we wouldn't do this but none of us were there and until we experience this same situation there's really no telling what anyone one of us would do.
