A Face Only a Mother Could Love...

Such beautiful turtles... such deep colors.... gorgeous polka-dot heads... I really love the looks of the Geoclemys hamiltonii turtles...

This is the general idea of what I'm talking about. I mean really, he's just a nice looking turtle....



BUT BRACE YOURSELF!!! The lil'dude decided to dress up for halloween last night!

I kid you not, when I first looked in on them last night he scared me!

Pictures don't make it half as scary as it was in real life.

I thought some freakish beast had gotten into the tubs!

Look at him!



And then he had the nerve to look me right in the eye and say "but really...I never touched the sand!"

Kids these days.....

That is one gorgeous turtle. I love all of his markings. Looks like he is a little trouble maker too. Do they really like playing in the sand? I should put some in George's tank.
