I have the 3 striped mud in with the ornate wood for now. The ornate wood will become a land turtle, but he is still young and mostly aquatic. The two small RES live together. The african sideneck lives with a large RES though Im not fond of mixing species. The asian leaf and asian box each live in their own tanks...

I love mud and musk turtles. I find them so much more fascinating than the pet store mainstays of red eared sliders, cooters and map turtles. I love to reply to old threads too.

I love tiny turtles, and I am planning to buy one. But the thing is how young should be the turtle I buy, so that it gets totally tamed?

There's no need to "tame" a turtle, they shouldn't be handled unless necessary. If you're looking for something you can handle, look into other reptiles (crested geckos, bearded dragons, ball pythons...).
