Yes,they can eat cucumber.
I am not sure what species that is.It is hard to tell in the picture, but it almost looks like a softshell turtle or something like that.

either way, we have the pic. but you really shouldn't just keep him overnight. he's lived this long on his own....you should let him continue to do so. giving him snacks is a cute idea for sure, he'll think it's halloween or something lol. but make sure you release him soon, it's only fair

Did you notice which way he was traveling when you picked him up? If you did, make sure when you release him (and I hope you do!) that you don't back set him, otherwise he'll end up in your front yard again... When turtles have their minds on a set place, they will get there, no matter how many times you set them back. Also, try not to put him near any big roads.

He sure doesn't look too happy all mucked up... snake neck turtles are some of the weirdest looking turtles. They're sometimes found in the pet trade, at least the species from New Guinea, as Australia doesn't allow their export. I think everyone else pretty much summed it up though, let him go away from a road, near a water source.

Yes, I agree.
I hope you have released him and he is on the way to wherever he was going.
Bye, bye cute little turtle! Be safe, take care!
