White spots on the shell can be a good indicator... there's also a LOT of other type of infections that are often generalized as "shell rott" incorrectly...

If you're seeing something abnormal on the shell..top, bottom, or sides, you may want to get it checked out.... if any part of the shell can be easily "picked at" without it being a normal shed, get it checked out, if the shell is soft anywhere at all, get it checked out... If the problem is visible enough for a picture to be able to pick it up by all means feel free to post for opinions as well...though "touch and feeL" with a real life visual is far more accurate...

She has spots on her back but they look gold under the water.
they are not soft and her eyes are clear and she is gaining weight all the time, one of the best eaters, not sluggish.

a month ago she weighed 80 grams today she weighs 125 grams.
is this too much of a weight increase and that is what is causing the spots you think?
Very worried....
