slider and map turtles - Paw Talk

hey guys im just doing some research does anyone know anything about slider or map turtles ? i saw some at the petshop not that im looking to get some just curious about them.

I think map turtles are the cutest things! They dont get big (maybe 3-4 inches I think!), and are very easy to care for. I'm guessing you're talking about red eared slider turtles, and those can get quite big, and need a large enclosure. Thats about all I know about them.

Start by researching online, very few people are going to be willing to type up a caresheet for you when tons already exist. I (and several others on here) have some turtle experience and would be willing to answer more specific questions, though

I'll start by saying that sliders are poor pets for most people. They get huge and are better as pond turtles IMO.

i was just curious ^_^ as cute as they are i dont plan to get any my house is so quite being petless but i dont think that turtles are right for me but i figured id do some research on them
