Wow. I love turtles. They are my favorite animals, and mine is sitting right next to me now. Well, I guess that could be a Carolina Box Turtle, but it looks a little like an Ornate to me...

Oh Wow!! What a shocker that must have been, seeing the dog trot doggily with a turtle in her mouth!! :

What gorgeous patterning on the shell! I would have done the same thing you did put it in a little pool with shallow water and a rock to climb on. I think you did good And you freed willlie after all

I might have been tempted to keep it for a little while....(bad me)


Your pictures always come out so perfect! What kind of camera do you have?
