Hey ya'll, new member here with two questions.

At the beginning of the summer I found two very young painted turtles stuck in my pool filter. Luckily there was no chlorine in the pool yet so they lived. The one was a runt and died, but the other one is doing well and is prob 1-1/5 inches big now. I am moving back to school in just a few days, its a 10 hour drive, and I was just wondering the best way to transport a turtle.

The second question is that he likes to bite. I think it's because I would run my finger up and down the tank to get him to chase it, but now he thinks I'm food. I was wondering if any one had any suggestions on how to break the habit.

Thanks a bunch, any advice is greatly appreciated!

they bite natural and you teased him. i would just use a damp cloth and small container to travel with. like a critter keeper.
